This curry I served with rice and a braised carrot and pea side.
Chicken Curry Recipe Serves (8 people):
1. Braise 2 large onions in some oil till soft and mushy
2.Add 1 large tomato (grated) for colour
3. Add the following fresh spices:
1 tsp tumeric
1 tablespoon coriander powder
1 tablespoon Cumin Powder (jeera)
1 tablespoon fennel powder (barishap)
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tbspn fresh garlic ginger.
salt to taste (approx 1 1l2 tsp salt)
add 4 potatoes cut into quarters
add 2 kg chicken pieces washed and skinned.
Submerge all potatoes under chicken and cook for 20 minutes on stove. Chop half bunch danya and add to pot.
Place pot into the Wonderbag and leave for at least 2 hours to cook finish..
Serve with Butter Pulau.
