Special Eid Feature
Eid is a very special day for all muslims. This specific Eid (Eid ul Fitr) is a day of giving charity to the poor, to celebrate the mercy of our creator and it also means the End of Ramadaan our holy month of fasting.
Eid ul Adhaa is a special day signifying the special ritual of slaughtering a sheep in remembrance with Prophet Ebrahim (Abraham ) willing to sacrifice his son for the sake of God and Gods mercy descending by allowing him to offer a Ram instead. We also remember the pilgrims on their holy journey to Makkah.
In traditional Capetonian fashion everyone is dressed in their best clothes and families come together to feast on their best foods.
