Ingredients: 4 cups Cake Flour 1 pkt yeast 1/2 tsp salt 125g Butter 1 egg 1/2 cup sugar 1 cup lukewarm water (more hotter) can use more if nec
Method Mix flour,sugar, yeast and salt. Melt butter in warm water. Add in egg. Then add the wet to the dry ingr. Mix to form a soft dough. Let rise - 1 hour in Wonderbag. (place a hot water bottle or heated bean bag under bowl of kneaded dough to aid the raising process) Once rise roll out 2 Large rotis with dough.Brush the surface of roti with some melted butter. Mix the half cup sugar with abt 2 tsp ground cinnamon or more depends on how cinnamony u like it. Sprinkle the sugar cinnamon over the surface of roti. Roll up roti like a swiss roll.. Cut 3cm and turn flat on greased tray. Brush with egg and bake at 180 for 20 min Topping When it comes from the oven, Make a simple cream cheese icing topping and spoon it over with some choc ganache (few tablespoons of heated cream mixed with a good quality chocolate)... If you dont have with. a simple butter cream will also do. |

I made such an exciting discovery today i couldnt wait to share it with you. Today I made caramel in my Wonderbag!! Now if you dont know this already ..Condensed Milk boiled for 3 hours turns into caramel which is delicious on deserts and cakes. Many living abroad dont have this yummy caramel available. It is also more expensive than condensed milk. Once Again Wonderbag saving you money. Heres how i cut 3 hours of stove time and continuous boiling and refilling water into 45 minutes on stove. Fill your pot with water and bring to boil. Place closed can of condensed milk inside water. Allow to boil on medium heat for 45 minutes. Place sealed pot in Wonderbag for 5-6 hours.. Add on cinnabons as they coming from oven and drizzle the top with choc ganache. (Melted choc and cream mix). yield 36 small ones Always use Sunshine Sev for this dish. Braise 1 pack of Sunshine Sev on a medium heat pot. First crush the sev into small pieces and roast but dont throw whole packet in at once split it. You will see the Sev turning a golden brown colour. Stir constantly to avoid burning of sev. Sev must look like this In sep pot melt 1/4 pure butter. Add braised Sev Add 1 litre boiling water and 1 cup milk , 2 cups sugar, 1 tsp fine cardamon, pinch salt. bring to boil for 7 minutes Add slivered almonds and sultanas before closing pot and placing in Wonderbag for minimum 2 hrs Leka hot and ready to eat. Since it was so freezing today, i decided on making veg soup. At midday hubby calls me and told me of his boeber craving. Since i have 2 Wonderbags i then made both. I must confess when im in the kitchen i rarely have things under control. Boeber almost always boils over and make a huge mess around the stove when im attempting to get the sago soft and translucent. Today it only took 5 minutes at the stove. Butter, vermicilli, milk and sago all in the bathtub (pot). Add sugar to taste and stick cinnamon and cardomon..Borrel for 5 minutes. In Wonderbag for at least 1 hr to slowly steam. This was cooked at 5pm its 9-55 pm now ive just poured myself a bowl and its still perfectly warm....*cringe* the calories Ingredients 2 Litres milk 4 cardoman pods 3 stick cinnamon 100 g butter 2 cups lokshen or fine vermicilli 6 tablespoon Sago (soaked for 10 minutes in water) the more you use the thicker the boeber becomes Sugar to your taste rose water for flavouring (optional) Boil everything together for 5 minutes and place in Wonderbag for min 1 hr. Keeps piping hot for 5-6 hrs. Im not a "Winter Person". The main thing is because of all the leka warm irresistable puddings I tend to make ...."mos vir die Kinders" lol. On a Winter's day i whipped up this yummy Traditional Malva pudding Topped with vanilla custard.. I Kept the malva pudding warm in my Wonderbag. *Please note* I used a glass dish for the pudding..so it didnt continue cooking in the bag..instead it released heat quicker than a metal dish would..So it just kept it warm.
