Ingredients Required.
1 packet of Butter beans (This is not the same as kidney beans). Soaked 5-6 hrs or overnight
Cook beans separately for 30 min on stove and leave for 3-4 hrs in Wonderbag.
2 large onions chopped and braised in some oil
Add 1 kilo of lamb pieces to braised onion
Add 1 large grated tomato
Add spices 1 heaped teaspoon of each spice ground (fennel, coriander, cumin)
Add half tsp tumeric
Add 1 tablespoon of garlic ginger paste freshly ground.
Add 1 stick cinnamon and 2 cardamon pods
Salt to taste.
Cook for about 30 min. Add the drained cooked beans to the meat and bring to boil . Finish off with fresh coriander and place into the Wonderbag to simmer together . Leave min 3 hrs in Wonderbag.
Delicious served with Roti of Pulau Rice.
